The area between the truck and the grade level entry should be a smooth surface for the operation of an electric motorized forklift carrying pallets into the building. Access from loading entrance to building: The grade level entry roll up or double door to allow for the continuous movement of the electric motorized forklift carrying pallets must be a minimum of 6’W x 8’H. Access to building loading entrance for deliveries of goods. A separate canopy covered entrance for employee vehicles to drive under and load and unload work product.
