The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation requires a comprehensive data catalog solution, which will be operated as a managed Software as a Service (SaaS) or solution deployed to the FDIC Microsoft Azure Government Cloud. The solution will serve as FDIC’s central authoritative source to search, discover, learn, and gain analytical insights into enterprise-wide data assets across the Corporation. In addition, the data catalog solution is expected to house metadata about FDIC’s data assets and provide data governance capabilities to better manage processes, policies, standards, roles and set controls that will ensure the effective and efficient use of information and data asset records. The scope of this effort is for FDIC to establish an enterprise-wide data catalog solution (the Data Catalog or Solution).
