The FDIC’s Division of Information Technology is conducting market research on enterprise laptop acquisition and lifecycle management, anticipating a fleet of at least 6,300 laptops. It seeks information on traditional purchasing, Device as a Service (DaaS), hybrid approaches, and other commercial models. The scope includes AI-capable laptops, docking stations, and wireless keyboards and mice. The FDIC is interested in vendor capabilities, refresh schedules, deployment and support services, lifecycle management, transition considerations, and ways to reduce budget spikes from large device replacements. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only; the FDIC is not requesting proposals or making an award through it.
