THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified, potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 811310, (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance), and any GSA schedule information. Responses will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this source sought notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) must supply power to critical loads during temporary interruptions of the commercial power supply. Managing power consumption using an onsite generator, can provide significant cost savings. An onsite generator reduces the risk of power outages and low power quality and control time–of–day–related power charges. The goal of this effort is to provide regular and thorough preventive maintenance of the generator. The generator supports missions, equipment, and personnel, for real-world events. A continuous source of power is required to maintain operational readiness. The FCC’s objective to put in a place a Kohler Certified Vendor (must utilize Kohler Certified technicians) to support the FCC’s Type I site generator maintenance. The FCC intends to award a firm fix price (FFP) contract/purchase order to the responsible qualified vendor. This is an all-or-none requirement, partial quotes will be deemed unresponsive and will not be evaluated. The FCC intends to award contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding site visits. The period of performance is from date of award for one (1) base year with three (3) one-year option periods beginning October 1, 2021. The places of performance are: Allegan, Michigan; Belfast, Maine; Canandaigua, New York; Grand Island, Nebraska; Kingsville, Texas; Douglas, Arizona; Kenai, Alaska; Ferndale, Washington; Honolulu, Hawaii; and, Livermore, California. Vero Beach, Florida Powder Springs, Georgia (primary) Powder Springs, Georgia (secondary A draft SOW is included in this announcement for review. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought and no contract will be directly awarded on the basis of this sources sought. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought shall be voluntary.
