This is a sources sought notice for a commercial brand name item. This is not a solicitation announcement. No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement, and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up requests. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is performing market research to identify contractors that possess the capabilities to provide the Part Numbers listed which is manufactured by LDARtools. The part numbers listed below The LDAR PHX42 is a critical tool used to protect responder and community health and safety. The PHX42 can provide the quantitative analysis volatile organic chemical compounds, with an expanded range over similar instrument. FIDs are used in the field to analyze air and would be critical for ERT Air Team responses. The PHX42 is field portable and can be carried into the work zone or response area to provide advanced data in seconds, for quick decision making. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the LDARtools will be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party in pursuant of making determination for Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition (JOFOC). Feedback and/or evaluation information will not be provided to any firm regarding their individual capability statements. Telephone calls, facsimiles, and/or requests for a solicitation will not be accepted or acknowledged. The capability statement should include the following: (1) Name of business. (2) Contact information (address, telephone, facsimile, e-mail, website address) (3) North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) , Business size and classification e.g., Small business, 8(a), HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged business, Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned business, and Women Owned small business; or Large Business. (4) Technical description of ability to meet the requirement (description should address technical competencies as Factory Authorized Service Provider and Product Brochure). (5) Any comments or concerns regarding subject procurement.
