The purpose of this amendment to the solicitation is to 1) extend the deadline for submitting quotes until Jan 4, 2021, and 2) allow the submission of quotes by email. Vendors who are having difficulty utilizing the FedConnect website may alternatively email their quote to the buyer at tichacek.william@epa.gov. In the event that a vendor submits multiple quotes, or one via FedConnect and one vis email and they are not the same, the one received later will be considered the correct one. Below is the text from the original solicitation: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation seeking vendors interested in supplying the EPA with the performance of preventative maintenance and unscheduled repair of laboratory equipment at the Andrew W. Breidenbach Environmental Research facility. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Acquisition Solutions (OAS), Headquarters Acquisition Division (HQAD), Simplified Acquisitions/Laboratory Supplies Branch, under the authority of FAR Part 13 is seeking quotes for the maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment. The EPA is seeking a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The EPA is seeking a one-year base period and up to four one-year option periods. For a full description of the requirements, reference the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Send the quotation via FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net referencing 68HERH21Q0005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-02. This solicitation is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 811219 with a small business size standard of $22 million. Vendors are expected to comply with the terms and conditions outlined by the solicitation provisions as well as the requirements of Section 4 of Executive Order 13950 (attached).
