Synopsis: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES: This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source purchase order under Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106- 1(b). The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Acquisition Solutions (OAS) Washington, D.C. intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Teledyne Instruments, Inc. It has been determined that Teledyne Instruments, Inc is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirements. This is to provide a battery pack and to provide maintenance/calibration of instrumentation aboard the underwater Teledyne Slocum II Glider for the USEPA MED-Duluth, ECO branches. Teledyne Instruments Inc provides the Glider Battery Pack and full service necessary to fulfill the requirements of the EPA. These services are required so that EPA staff can conduct plans for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) and Cooperative Science and Monitoring Initiative (CSMI) for work on Lake Erie monitoring plumes, thermal bars and harmful algal blooms. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPAs requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, by May 3, 2019 at 12pm.
