This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement to acquire patent services. The EPA hereby issues this RFQ to procure a multiple award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for patent services identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) with a not to exceed ceiling of $800k. All orders issued under the BPA when combined cannot exceed $800k. This solicitation will be accomplished under the authority of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Small Business Set Aside. This procurement is a total small business set-aside and is assigned to primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541110, (Offices of Lawyers), with a size standard not exceeding 11 million in annual receipts.
