Touchless Entry Screening Solution-RTP, NC This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for Market Research Purposes ONLY. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is conducting Market Research to determine if there are interested and capable offerors in the marketplace with the knowledge, skills, interest and to perform the work described in the attached Draft SOW. The scope of this requirement is for the procurement, implementation, configuration, and ongoing hardware and software maintenance and support of entry screening technology as defined by the requirements that follow. This effort does not include the labor or effort required for daily operations or to monitor or interpret real-time threat detection. Please see the attached Draft SOW. This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes-it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB, or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Furthermore, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued. In Response to this sources sought, please provide: 1. Name of the Firm, the primary Point of Contact, email address, phone number and UEI. 2. Business Size Standard 3. A Narrative regarding a thorough review of the scope of work identified in the attached Draft SOW and any questions/concerns that need to be addressed/discussed or suggesting to improve the scope of work to meet the agency's overall needs. 4. A Narrative on firms' experience (whether as a prime or subcontractor) in providing similar Touchless Entry Screening Solutions as identified in the attached draft SOW in sufficient detail in the previous three (3) years with similar requirements. Include project title, location or agency, start/end date, size (square footage), scope of work, dollar value, complexity, pertinent certifications, point of contact, etc. that will facilitate making a capability determination. Also, please include any information on consulting services provided by the Contractor. All interested and capable firms with the knowledge, skills, interest, and capability to perform the scope of work in the attached Draft SOW are encouraged to reply to this sources sought. RESPONSES SHALL BE NO LONGER THAN 10 TOTAL PAGES; information such as brochures and other industry information is not included in the 10-page limitation. Responses to this Request for Information are to be sent via FedConnect. This is NOT a solicitation and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey.
