The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Chapel Hill Facility in North Carolina has a requirement for the operation, maintenance, and modification for the human studies facilities. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Priced type contract (with cost reimbursable contract line items) with a twelve-month base period and four (4) twelve-month option periods. The services to be performed are: Systems Operation and Maintenance Computer Operations and Data Management Quality Assurance Safety System Upgrades Provide System Documentation and Technical Reports The successful contractor of any resultant contract will be expected to provide all necessary labor, materials, and services in support of the efforts delineated by the attached ¿DRAFT¿ Performance Work Statement (PWS). Due to COVID-19 precautions and restrictions, organized site visits can be scheduled for one of the three dates provided: September 28, 2021, September 29, 2021, or September 30, 2021. Site visits for each day shall begin at 10:00 am (ET). Potential offers will meet the EPA Representative for this action at the following location: Chapel Hill Facility (CHF) on the Medical School Campus of the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, North Carolina, at 104 Mason Farm Road Chapel Hill, NC 27599 Potential offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In order to attend one of the scheduled site visits, potential offerors must register in writing through the Contract Specialist (Waugaman.lisa@epa.gov) no later than 5:00 pm (ET), September 22, 2021. Requests to attend the site visit after this date and time may not be honored. No more than two (2) attendees from each potential offeror are authorized. Since these site visits will be conducted on a Federal facility, all attendees must be US citizens. The request to attend must include the full name of each attendee and potential offeror they each represent. All attendees must be able to provide a government issued photo ID upon arrival. This acquisition is being conducted as a total small business set aside in accordance with FAR Subpart 19.5. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330 (Engineering Service Industry) with a size standard of $16.5 Million.
