SYNOPSIS Agilent 1260 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) with Variable Wavelength Detector for EPA NVFEL The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL), Ann Arbor, Michigan, intends to purchase one (1) Agilent 1260 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) with Variable Wavelength Detector plus an option to purchase one (1) additional Agilent 1260 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) with Variable Wavelength Detector within one year after the initial award. The acquisition of this Commercial item will be subject to brand name competition and will be processed in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516: Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a standard size of 1000 employees. The OAR NVFEL SACO anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract as a total small business set aside. The EPA has identified at least two (2) small businesses capable of meeting the requirements of this acquisition. This purchase is for one (1) Agilent 1260 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) with Variable Wavelength Detector plus an option to purchase one (1) additional Agilent 1260 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) with Variable Wavelength Detector within one year after the initial award. All requirements will be set forth in the Statement of Work (SOW) at the time of solicitation. The solicitation will describe and set forth all requirements for the purchase of one (1) Agilent 1260 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) with Variable Wavelength Detector plus an option to purchase one (1) additional Agilent 1260 High Performance Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC) with Variable Wavelength Detector. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The full solicitation should be issued on or about May 21, 2020 on FedConnect.net.
