This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for information and planning purposes ONLY. No awards will be made from the responses to this announcement. However, responses may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a future acquisition. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325120 and the size standard to qualify as a small business is 1,000 Employees. All interested parties must have a DUNS number, Taxpayer Identification Number, and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Objective: The U.S. Environmental Protection (EPA) Region 7 Laboratory requires various industrial and laboratory gases in order to meet its mission. This RFI is searching for potential sources for the continuous supply of the necessary gases to the laboratory. This RFI is looking to: 1) Gauge industry interest, capabilities, and relevant experience to provide the delivery of and maintenance of various laboratory gases (refer to the attached list) 2) Determine any possible set-aside EPA will be using responses from this RFI for documentation of Market Research and in preparing the most appropriate proposal request format. Resources: To aid industry in evaluating their ability to perform this requirement, the following documents have been attached: 1) Draft Statement of Work (SOW) 2) Lab Gas List Contractor Response Format: The EPA asks that all interested parties, at a minimum, supply the following information: 1) Name of Company and Point of Contact 2) Telephone number, address, and email address of POC 3) Company CAGE code and DUNS number Type of Contract: An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Requirements type contract Award is contemplated. Period of performance will be a 1-year base period and four 1 -year option periods for a maximum potential of five years.
