The project consists of the full removal of approximately 7,800 sq ft of an existing 28-year old built-up roof and gravel ballast and install a new membrane roofing system. The contractor will be required but not limited to, remove existing roofing, verify flatness and tightness of joints of wood decking, fill knot holes with latex filler, fill concrete deck surface honeycomb and variations with latex filler, apply vapor retarder to deck surface, install flexible flashing from vapor retarder to air seal material of wall construction, apply membrane roofing system, and install horizontal safety line system.
