This is a new municipal direct-assistance technical support (MDATS) contract action / project to support the Monitoring Program for EPA's Cape Cod Nitrogen BMPs in Chatham and Barnstable (Hyannis), MA. This MDATS project will help evaluate the condition and performance of the two subsurface gravel wetland (SGW) best management practice (BMP) retrofits installed in 2015 in Hyannis (Barnstable) and Chatham, MA. The project contemplates the collection and use of primary environmental empirical data for assessing the performance of the BMPs and supporting the development of Performance Curves for SGW BMPs in accordance with an approved QAPP. The project will employ a purchase order (PO) consisting of a one-year Period of Performance (10/1/2019 through 9/30/2020). The PO will be used to establish the monitoring conditions and instrumental capabilities necessary to evaluate the baseline condition and performance of the BMPs.
