This requirement is to provide drop-in childcare services to the Veterans located at a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facility to those Veterans who have a Mental Health appointment or an intensive healthcare medical appointment at any VA facilities. The services shall include flexible scheduling options for ad hoc childcare while Veterans are receiving schedule services at the VA medical center. This requirement is to provide drop-in childcare services to the Veterans located at a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facility to those Veterans who have a Mental Health appointment or an intensive healthcare medical appointment at any VA facilities. The services shall include flexible scheduling options for ad hoc childcare while Veterans are receiving schedule services at the VA medical center. Place of Performance All Veterans medical center and/or Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) or other facilities as needed per Department of Veterans Affairs. The location of the facilites are TBD. VA requires two (2) teachers to support an estimated total of 10 facilities during the Base Year (FY2024); 20 facilities during Option Year 1 (FY2025); 28 facilities during Option Year 2 (FY2026); 10 facilities during Option Year 3 (FY2027); and 10 facilities during Option Year 4 (FY2028). ***Please respond to this Request for Information (RFI) indicating contractor capability to support VA medical centers nationwide (either directly or with subcontractor support).
