This is a Request for Information (RFI). The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Inspector General (OIG) is conducting Market Research for a draft requirement, Case Management Solution, that includes capabilities related to investigations, congressional inquiries, and hotline allegations. Please note that this is not a solicitation. No award(s) will be issued against responses to this RFI. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any contractor’s input resulting from this RFI. Any future contract/order that might be awarded related to OIG requirements set forth in this RFI or other market research will be made in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Further, there will not be a contract awarded as a result of this RFI; and the submission of data at this time will not impact any firm's participation in the future competition of a contract. In addition, the purpose of this RFI is to obtain market information on capable sources of supply, industry practices, and input specific to the information provided. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by industry in furnishing this information. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future Request for Proposal (RFP), if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary.
