No formal s... GPS Data Collection -- T002 . This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) is seeking potential sources capable to provide GPS data collection services for nineteen (19) cemeteries located across the United States. Applicable NAICS Code is 541360 with a size standard of $28.5 million. Classification code is T002. Contractor shall perform a land survey to locate upright markers, flat markers, and niche covers to determine latitude/longitude/elevation. The Government will provide electronic copies of burial register reports, handout maps, and AutoCAD burial section drawings as available. Contractor shall either update existing CAD drawings (if existing CAD drawings are available) or create new drawings based on available map records provided by the Government. Contractor shall verify field conditions and reconcile inconsistencies in the drawings. Contractor shall digitally photograph the front and back of each upright marker, the front of each niche cover and memorial wall marker, and the top of each flat marker. Contractor shall provide proof of registration and licensing of its surveyors, architects and/or engineers performing GPS land survey, collecting data and digitally photographing markers and niche covers. Contractor shall compile all field collected data into an ESRI file geodatabase using the NCA provided schema, electronic database inventories in Excel, and Excel based discrepancy reports resulting from comparison of field collected data against Government provided interment records. Contractor shall comply with the following: - US ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS EM 1110-1-1005 Topographic surveying - US ARMY CORP OF ENGINEERS EM 1110-1-2909 Geospatial data system - A/E/C CAD standard, Release 6.1 - National Standard for Spatial Data Accuracy (NSSDA) - Federal Geographic Data Committee (FDGC), Spatial Data Standards for Facilities and Infrastructure (SDSFIE), and other GIS data standards provided by the government.
