THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). VENDORS SHALL NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Acquisition Center (NAC), Commodities and Services Acquisition Service (CSAS), located in Golden, Colorado, USA, 80401, intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of Nebulizers and Accessories. Note: This acquisition was previously synopsized on Contract Opportunity, Presolicitation Notice, as 36C10G21R0013 – Nebulizers, Compressors, and Accessories; Strategic Acquisition Center, Fredericksburg, VA 22408-2697; Point of Contact: Darrel Williamson. The NAC, CSAS, is now responsible for this procurement; most of the changes from the Strategic Acquisition Center to the National Acquisition Center deals mostly with ordering and delivering processes. This acquisition is for Full and Open competition. The Government intends to award a single, firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, and provisions. Nebulizers and accessories used by Veterans is based upon a physician’s determination of medical necessity. All Nebulizers and Accessories shall have Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) market approval. The Government intends to post a Request for Proposal (RFP) to the beta.Sam.ov website at http://www.beta.sam.gov/ https://sam.gov/content/opportunities Contract Opportunities on or about July 21, 2021. Proposals will be due no less than 30 days after the issuance of any solicitation. All respondents must be properly registered in System for Award Management (SAM) under NAICS Code: 339112 – Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, Size standard: 1,000 employees, database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in VetBiz database, if applicable. VetBiz registration is required for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Busines under the applicable NAICS code. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov and VetBiz information at https://www.vetbiz.va.gov. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for offers.
