Using the bedside TV, the GetWellNetwork system enables patients to view movies, access the Internet, play games, and get health information on the television and thus achieve a more patient centered care experience referred to as Interactive Patient Care. The VAGLAHCS are requesting to purchase GetWell Network wireless keyboards to replace broken and older wired keyboards that cannot be cleaned using hospital grade disinfectant, and offer patients a wireless way to engage the system as well as enabling text input when using the internet or sending messages
