Email: jacqueline.miller7@va.gov NOTE: You are required to RSVP the POC and Contracting Officer Gislaine Dorvil (gislaine.dorvil@va.gov) via email of your intent to attend the site visit by August 8, 2024 NLT 2PM CST. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRESOLICITATION DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs NCO 15 Contracting Office C/O Colmery – O’Neil VA Medical Center, Topeka, Kansas 66622, seeks interested vendors for 589A5-22-106 Replace Building 4 HVAC (Single Award Contract). The single contract award is to provide capabilities for simplified non-complex, general construction services and install a new HVAC system and controls for Building 4 at Colmery O’Neil VA Medical Center. The resulting construction contract Contractor shall provide all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, incidentals, and testing necessary to provide and install a new HVAC system and controls for Building 4 at Colmery O’Neil VA Medical. The project includes, but is not limited to, general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, necessary demolition and removal of existing ductwork, fan coils, piping and condensate drains, air handlers, building controls including the server hardware and operating system software, ceilings, and certain other items necessary for completion and installation of new work. All work shall be performed in accordance with solicitation/contract terms and conditions, specifications and drawings, and all applicable VA and local codes. Project is expected to be completed in several continuous phases, some of which can run concurrent at contractors’ option and with approval of the VA COR. The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45.0 million. The solicitation is 100% set-aside to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed-price, single award contract for a non-commercial item. The Contracting Office intends to award a single contract, with a one-and-a-half-year base period. The period of performance is five-hundred and forty (540) days after issuance of notice to proceed.
