Sources Sought Notice- Gravity Flow Racks The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Offers are not being solicited at this time. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request for information. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center is conducting market research to assess industry capabilities to supply for gravity flow racks to the VA. The VA is seeking responses to this request for information from interested, capable SDVOSB or VOSB firms that can meet the requirements set forth below. Specifications: - Dimensions: 75-1/2x57x78-3/8" -Inclusive of all frame parts and track hardware. - Must have adjustable roller track widths. 1"Wx1.1" dia. rollers with steel wheel axles spaced on 1.1" centers. 12 rollers and 6 dividers per level. Shelf capacity based on evenly distributed loads. - Frames are bolted together; front and rear beams are bolted while the middle supports drop in without nuts or bolts. all other frame and level components are galvanized. - The fore-to-aft positioning of the flow levels side can be adjusted in 1" increments providing individualized ergonomic curve relieving worker stress. - Flow rack levels can be adjusted in 0.25" increments in height providing maximum storage density - Rollers and guides can be adjusted across the width of the levels in 0.18" increments enabling the use of any container - Capable of being integrated with a Pick by Light system - 3,000 to 5,500 lb. cap. load capacity per rack range. - Easy to assemble or reposition Any company that believes they can provide gravity flow racks with the above specifications or similar specifications please submit the following information by email to Dreux.johnson@va.gov no later than 12:00 CST March 12, 2018 with the following information: Specify your business size and DUNS. Supply a capability statement. The extend that you can supply racks as specified above, and note any deviation to the above. Note any standard or available warranties.
