The VA Enterprise Procurement Office intends to issue an unrestricted RFP for Latanoprost Ophthalmic Solution for VA (including CMOPs and Option 2 SVHs), DoD (including TMOPs), BOP, IHS, and FHCC. VA will award one contract to a responsible offeror that can provide an uninterrupted source of supply; the contract consists of a one-year base period plus four pre-priced one-year option periods, with distribution through the VA and DoD Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Programs. Offerors must state the exact label name and a unique NDC, use only the successful offeror’s label/NDC on the product, allow VA labels to securely adhere on top, and follow the American Academy of Ophthalmology color-coding for topical ocular medication caps and labels. The procurement is subject to the WTO Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements, uses NAICS 325412, and the solicitation is expected to be issued electronically in commercial item format on or about October 21, 2026, with amendments available at SAM.gov.
