The Department of Veterans Affairs and OPAL / National Acquisition Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), sole source action against a National Contract to; Name of Contractor: Bausch & Lomb Americas, Inc Street Address: 400 Somerset Corporate Blvd City, State, Zip: Bridgewater, NJ 08807 The objective of this action is the procurement of PreserVision ARED with Lutein and PreserVision ARED2. This requirement is for the procurement of PreserVision (as defined below) for the NAC. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the need for compatibility with the existing product limits this procurement to a brand name only requirement. Market research has concluded Bausch & Lomb Americas, Inc. is the sole supplier capable of fulfilling this requirement through a National Contract.
