Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract using DESIGN-BUILD selection procedures for the design and construction of a physical therapy and prosthetics building at the Omaha VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 4101 Woolworth Ave #4199, Omaha, NE 68105. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to design and construct a physical therapy and prosthetics building at the Omaha VAMC. The contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures and integration into existing systems as necessary. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about July 10, 2020. The period of performance is approximately 550 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is NOT a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $10,000,000 to $20,000,000. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to samantha.mihaila@va.gov.
