Page 2 of 2 PRESOLICITATION NOTICE 36E77620Q0091 Techniplast Guardian Software The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Connecticut Healthcare System (VACHS) has a requirement for the procurement of 41 Techniplast Guardian Software licenses and a 1-year maintenance agreement for the VA facility in Palo Alto, CA. The Guardian software provides environmental and temperature monitoring of the housings and cages for laboratory animals. The estimated dollar amount is approximately $39,862.14. This notice serves as the synopsis of the contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102(a)(6), FAR 5.201, FAR 13.105, and FAR 13.106-1(b). The solicitation will be issued as an oral Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Small Business (SB) concerns conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(c)(1). Please find attached the brand name single source justification document.
