Emergency Digital Thermometers Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) NAICS 339112 Size 1000 This request for information (RFI) is issued solely to determine the capabilities of firms to provide Digital Thermometers in large quantities in support of COVID-19 related patient care across the VA. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an Invitation for Bid, Request for Quotation, or a Request for Proposal. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Responses to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider as part of their market research efforts. The information provided may be used by the Government in developing its acquisition strategy. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI and parties responding will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs incurred in responding to this RFI. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing - with a size standard of 1,000 Employees. Generic capability statements will not be accepted or reviewed. Your response must address capabilities specific to the required in Attachment 1 Digital Thermometers Draft SOW, in addition to all other information required below. Please identify any of your firm s existing contract vehicles (e.g. GSA federal supply schedules) which provides for the SOW requirements. Please provide all social-economic categories of your firm (e.g., SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, Large Business, 8a, etc.) as well as your firm s DUNS number and Government Contract POC. Please provide in the RFI response any capability statement which addresses the following abilities: Capacity to provide up to 250,000 Digital Thermometers, which meet all salient characteristics of Attachment 1 Digital Thermometer Draft SOW. * If your firm does not have the capacity to provide a quantity of 250,000 units, please indicate the maximum quantity of units, by specific manufacturers and part numbers, which meet the listed salient characteristics Delivery of up to 250,000 Digital Thermometers to the designated delivery location by 30-Apr-20. *If Delivery of 250,000 units by the delivery date is not possible provide the amount of units that can be delivered by the delivery date. If a Phased Delivery is necessary, please provide the shipping schedule to meet the # of units available*** c. The contractor/offeror shall not provide gray market items and the contractor/offeror shall be an authorized distributor of the items being offered. Manufacturer cut sheets must be included in the response, as well as reseller authorization, for all unique product numbers submitted d.
