Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build Renovate for Relocation of Oncology, Hematology, and Dialysis 1st Floor Construction project at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 5500 E. Kellogg, Wichita, KS 67218. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary for the Renovate and Relocation of Oncology, Hematology, and Dialysis 1st Floor Construction project. Work includes general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, drainage, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 million. The solicitation will be issued on or about mid to late June 2020. The period of performance is approximately 270 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to thomas.council@va.gov.
