Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build SPS Temporary Utility Service Construction project at the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital located at 4300 West 7th Street. Little Rock, AR 72205. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Electrical Work: Work includes all labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform the required Electrical construction work on this project including Concrete Pad: Work includes all site prep, labor, material, equipment and supervision to provide a 11 -0 x 8 -0 x 12 concrete transformer pad for a pad mounted transformer. The Minor construction work will be near employee parking on East side of the campus at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, AR. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 with a size standard of $16.5 million. The solicitation will be issued in mid-June 2020. The period of performance is approximately 75 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to john.fancella@va.gov.
