The Denver Logistics Service (DLS) is seeking potential offerors for the supplying and installation of Schaefer Systems International (SSI) Gravity Shelves in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This request for capability statements does not constitute a request for proposals. If your company has the potential capacity to perform the work identified below in the Statement of Work, please provide the following information: 1) Company name, address, email address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership of company; 2) Capability statement addressing the particulars of this work. All responses must be emailed to Bryan.Crist@va.gov. Veteran Affairs (VA) Denver Logistics Services (DLS) Warehouse Gravity Flow Shelving with Installation Services STATEMENT OF WORK Background. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Acquisition Center (NAC) Commodities and Services Acquisition Service (CSAS) along with the Denver Logistics Service (DLS) in Golden, Colorado manage holistic supply chain management for VA National Audiology, Prosthetics, and Telehealth Programs and supports VA and other Government agencies with professional acquisition and logistical services. Requirement. Contractor shall provide all supplies, services, labor, tools and materials to install shelves at the two separate locations. Schaefer Systems International, Inc. (SSI) Gravity flow racks and installation services are required for the Positive Air Flow (PAP) DLS located at Denver Federal Center (DFC) warehouse, 1 Federal Center bldg. 810, Denver, CO 80225. Provide and install 12 each gravity flow racks (which includes 6 each extra floor level shelving) at the SDC: SSI Gravity Flow Add-on shelves 79"H x 71"W x 76"D for SDC, 5 EA SSI Gravity Flow Starter shelves 79"H x 71"W x 76"D for SDC, 1 EA SSI Gravity Flow Extra Level shelves 71"W x 76"D for SDC, 6 EA Delivery and Installation at VA SDC, Bldg. 37 Dock 14, Hines, IL 60141 Provide and install 117 each gravity flow racks at Denver Federal Center (DFC) for DLS: SSI Gravity Flow Add-on shelves 79"H x 71"W x 76"D for DLS, 108 EA SSI Gravity Flow Starter shelves 79"H x 71"W x 76"D for DLS, 9 EA Delivery and Installation at DFC Warehouse for DLS, 1 Federal Center Bldg. 810, Denver, CO 80225, 1 EA Specifications. All gravity flow racking must include the following: All frame parts and track hardware. Adjustable flow rack levels. Adjustable roller track widths. 1"W x 1.1" dia. rollers with steel wheel axles spaced on 1.1 centers. 12 rollers and 6 dividers per level. Shelf capacity based on evenly distributed loads. Frames are bolted together; front and rear beams are bolted while the middle supports drop in without nuts or bolts. all other frame and level components are galvanized. The fore-to-aft positioning of the flow levels side can be adjusted in 1" increments providing individualized ergonomic curve relieving worker stress. Flow rack levels can be adjusted in 0.25" increments in height providing maximum s storage density. Rollers and guides can be adjusted across the width of the levels in 0.18" increments enabling the use of any container. 5,500 lb. cap. load capacity per rack. Provide Installation Instructions Manual (in English) and other necessary documentation for each rack. Warranty. Commercial Standard Warranty Applies which is one year.
