The National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific-Punch Bowl requires sod deliveries. The sod must be El Toro Zoysia, freshly harvested within 24 hours of delivery, free of weeds, pests, and disease, and supplied in 2’ x 4’ sheets at 1”–1.5” thickness. The total quantity is 30,000 SF, with bi-weekly deliveries of minimum 3,000 SF and maximum 5,000 SF per order. Sod must be delivered on pallets in a moist, healthy condition, protected during transport and scheduled in early morning hours when feasible to minimize heat stress.
