The solicitation and all plans/supporting documents will be published to Federal Contract Opportunities at sam.gov for inspection without charge. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration intends to issue a solicitation entitled, “808CM3008 Cypress Hills National Cemetery Rostrum Wall and Fence Restoration Construction Project” at Cypress Hills National Cemetery, on or about February 20, 2024, unless additional notice is given, or this notice is modified or cancelled. The full solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Federal Contract Opportunities at sam.gov. Proposals will be due 30 calendar days after the solicitation is published. The acquisition type for this solicitation will be Request for Proposal (RFP). This requirement will be an SDVOSB set-aside in accordance with Public Law 109-461. The construction magnitude for this requirement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The NAICS is 238140 – Masonry Contractors, and the business size standard is $19.0 Million. The purpose of this project is to provide construction for Cypress Hills National Cemetery Rostrum, Wall, and Fence Restoration as described in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Construction Documents. The National Cemetery Administration is seeking SDVOSB construction contractors that can perform the construction services required for this project and would propose/bid on this project if solicited. If capable and interested, please provide the following no later than the response due date: Proof of SDVOSB Certification. Statement of intent to propose/bid on this project if/when solicited. Capability statement with example projects completed as the Prime Contractor that are similar in scope and magnitude. Specifically looking for companies that have experience with historic restoration work like this project. List of key personnel on staff or subcontractors with resumes that would be used on this project to facilitate successful completion.
