The Department of Veteran Affairs National Cemetery Administration (NCA) intends to solicit proposals to hire a contractor to provide grounds maintenance services with cemetery specific aspects. We intend to award the successful offeror a base plus four options contract, on or about 5/1/2022 with the period of performance starting on 6/1/2022 - to facilitate mobilization. This procurement will be 100% set aside for Services Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSBs) and Veteran Owned Businesses (VOSBs). The solicitation will be posted to SAM.gov on or about 3/2/2022. Location: Wood National Cemetery 5000 W National Ave Milwaukee WI, 53295 https://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/wood.asp NAICS Code: 561730 Landscaping Services Size Standard: $8.0 Million The Performance Work Statement (PWS) includes, but is not limited to the following: Grounds/Turfgrass Maintenance of approximately 50.1 acres, to include but not limited to; mowing, trimming, edging, aerification, fertilization, pre and post-emergence herbicide application. Trimming of approximately 24,461 headstones and 8,860 flat markers. Pesticide application and general pest control - gophers, voles, moles etc. Fall Leaf Removal (approx. 30 acres). Jet cleaning of storm water drainage. Cleaning of French drains/zip drains. Cleaning of approximately 35 storm water basins. Trash and debris removal including floral pick-up. Power washing - or other effective means of cleaning buildings/structures/signage. Headstone Raise and Re-alignment (subject to Davis-Bacon Act wages). Headstone Fine Tune Alignment (subject to Davis-Bacon Act wages). Headstone cleaning of approximately 26,422 headstones twice a year must be done in preparation for and prior to Memorial Day and Veterans day. Sunken grave/turf repair, replacement, etc. Interested parties shall respond to the forthcoming solicitation for consideration.
