Request for Information (RFI) This is not a Request for Quote The National Cemetery Administration has a need for ground maintenance services with Cemetery specific aspects, at the following site: Wood National Cemetery 5000 W National Ave Bldg. 1301 Milwaukee, WI 53295 https://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/wood.asp The purpose of this RFI is to identify Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs), or Small Businesses that are interested in, and capable of providing the following services at Wood National Cemetery: Turfgrass Mowing - 50.1 acres @ 36 times per year Turfgrass Trim headstones, edge markers in conjunction with every mowing. trimmed 36 times per year Approximately 8860 flat markers, 24461 headstones Edging walks, curbs. (7 times per year). (Approximately 13,824 linear feet per event) Turfgrass - pre-emergence herbicide application. (50.1 acres; Mid to late April) Turfgrass - post-emergence herbicide spray. (50.1 acres; May & July & late Sep early Oct) Turfgrass fertilization. (50.1 acres; June, & Sep, Oct/Nov., Turfgrass aerification (1 X year) Oct Turfgrass overseeding. (50.1 Acres) Oct (coincide with aerification) Turfgrass-pesticide application 50.1 acres one application Gopher, Vole, and Mole Control (4 times per year) Post-emergence targeting yellow nutsedge, creeping charilie, Glechoma hedcracea, ground ivy herbicide: Provide and Apply (50.1 acres x 1 application mid-June) Headstone Maintenance: Raise & Realignment Sunken turf/Grave repair (average area is 5x10) Topsoil installation and Grading, renovation of the existing turfgrass stand Headstone Maintenance: Maintenance & Clean twice a year. 1 Prior to Memorial Day and one prior to veteran's day 26,422 upright headstones cleaned twice a year Power-wash Buildings Cleaning of storm water Basins (Approximately 35 basins) Cleaning of French drains/zip drains Jet cleaning of Storm water Drainage Fall Leaf Removal (30 acres) Headstone Fine Tune Alignment Trash and Debris Removal, Floral vase cleaning and replenishment of vase in container Fence Line: Remove Vegetation (Approximately 5397 Linear feet of Fence line) Floral Pick-up Monument and Sign Cleaning If interested, please email David.Boyd7@va.gov NLT 12/14/2021 at 2:00 PM EST.
