Topsoil Statement of Work Upon the COR placing the topsoil order, the contractor will deliver within 3 business days the ordered amount of topsoil. Topsoil will be deposited into the bin that is assigned by the COR. The topsoil shall be pulverized and contain 60 percent sand, 15 percent clay, and 25 percent silt. If the ratio in the topsoil is to be deviated from, the contractor shall inform the COR and seek approval for the new ratio. Topsoil shall be delivered in 25-yard batches. If the topsoil that is delivered is of poor or unacceptable quality it shall be the contractor responsibility to coordinate with the COR to remove all substandard topsoil and replace it the same day with acceptable top soil.
