Sources Sought Notice for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses (SB) willing and capable of delivery, stocking, emptying, and cleaning of (4) portable latrines for the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209 for the period of 3/1/2021 (or date of award) through 2/28/2022 (or 12 months from date of award). Sources Sought Description: This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This is a solicitation issued as a source sought notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are due to the Contracting Officer no later than 4:00 pm on 2/4/2021. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information provided nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided for the Government. Offerors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information concerning this announcement at https://beta.sam.gov/search . Prospective offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website and complete representations and certifications at https://www.sam.gov Scope: The contractor shall be responsible for providing (4) portable latrines, (2) standard portable latrines and (2) ADA complaint portable latrines, to the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209, within 10 days of contract award for the period of 3/1/2021 (or date of award) through 2/28/2022. Description of Services: Non-personal service contract to provide Portable Chemical Latrines (PCLs) to the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for the delivery, twice weekly cleaning, twice weekly emptying, twice weekly stocking, twice weekly removal & disposal of all other associated waste, relocating, and removal of (4) PCLs. (2) PCLs shall be standard PCLs with in-unit hand washing sink and (2) ADA complaint PCLs with in-unit hand washing sink. All PCLs shall be standard commercially available type, with self-closing & tight fitting locking doors, free of wall cracks & holes, mesh screen covered ventilation openings, coat hook, urinal, hinged toilet seat, in-unit hand washing sink, lockable toilet tissue holder that will hold at least two rolls of toilet tissue, and deodorizer (non-formaldehyde). Unit urinals and toilet seats shall be made of stainless steel, plastic (fiberglass), or other substantial material having a non-absorbent finish. Units shall have a minimum of 5 gallons of fresh water and chemical solution in waste tank when initially delivered and after each cleaning cycle. End of Document
