36C78620R0027 Fort Sheridan Burial Operations Questions from Industry with Responses from Government The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to questions received from industry. All offerors must acknowledge this amendment with the submission of their quotes. The due date for quotes remains the same. Please see the questions received from interested offerors, as well as, responses from Government below. Questions from Industry are in Black Responses from Government are in Blue With respect to CLIN 0007 and CLIN 0008....could you please detail exactly what is involved in supplying "SUPPORT SERVICES"? ...for instance...number of personnel involved doing what? equipment needed? Hours involved? etc. In the past, our involvement in Memorial Day etc. was limited to an observation status ergo we have no work history to research to help us form a proposal for these CLIN's. CLIN 0007 This is mainly assisting with the placement (usually there are lots of volunteers to place flags but very few to remove) and removal of gravesite flags. The Contractor can determine the number of employees and this is just a guess the entire Cemetery should probably take no more than 2 hours even with 2 employees. CLIN 0008 This would include burials on weekends and/or holidays to include Active Duty burials. Contractor will determine how many employees they need to prepare and complete the interment. Active duty burials tend to be a little longer. Item number 10 on the Technical Acceptability requests a Gantt Chart, can you confirm if this is based on per day or monthly? This would be based on the task for each CLIN, the estimated quantities are listed. 2. Can you please clarify what document we need to provide a redacted copy of? Would this be the Price Schedule forms pages 4-9 or the Technical Acceptability Items we provide. Does this mean we need to remove our personal company information? The documents that must be redacted are the ones related to your company s technical capabilities. Offerors shall removal anything that can be used to identify their company or personnel in any way. To include, but not limited to; company names, logos, photos, and the names of personnel.
