It was formerly a post... The Fort Stevens Cemetery is located on 1198 Russell Drive in Hammond, Oregon. The cemetery was transferred to the VA-National Cemetery Administration and is an active cemetery. It was formerly a post cemetery owned and operated by the United States (U.S.) Army Reserve 88th Regional Support Command (RSC). The cemetery is comprised of approximately 1.20 acres of cemetery grounds, and another 0.37 acres of paved access road (Russell Drive) leading up to the cemetery entrance. It contains the remains of approximately 280 veterans, spouses and dependent children. Fort Stevens Cemetery is open for first interment requests and second interments for veterans, a veteran spouse and/or dependent child. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials and supplies necessary to provide Interment and Grounds Maintenance Services at Fort Stevens Cemetery.
