The Contractor gaining award shall provide all personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment and supervision necessary to perform and complete all work to remove and replace all of the existing turf at the Historic National Cemeteries hereby known as the Cemetery IAW Statements of Work. Work includes, but not limited to: professional land surveying to quantify the work areas in square feet; herbicide applications; clearing and grubbing vegetation; removal of all existing grass and weeds within the work areas; soil testing; soil preparation; fine grading; irrigation adjustments and testing; new turf installation by sod; turf maintenance period; turf warranty; and headstone cleaning. Incidental work may include realignment of existing headstones that become misaligned during the course of the work at no additional cost to the Government. Successful completion of the turf replacement/renovation shall be measured by, but not limited to: Complete killing and removal of existing turf including Annual Bluegrass (Poa annua); and replacement with specified sod turfgrass within the work areas.
