The VA is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced and interested potential sources. Responses will NOT be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business or Large) relative to NAICS 561730, Landscaping Services for tree pruning and tree and/or stump removal. The Government intends to establish a multiple-award BPA which may be done by region as a result of the information received. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on FEDBIZ OPPS website, www.fbo.gov. National Cemetery Administration is seeking interested sources (contractors) for a future solicitation and procurement for the following: There is an indefinite quantity of trees that require work at the Pacific District Cemeteries. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, and supervision to perform one or more of the following tasks: tree and stump removal, routine pruning, deadwood pruning, palm tree pruning, stump grinding, root pruning, snag felling, and the removal and disposal of any resulting waste and debris. There are 20 Cemetery Locations in the Pacific District where these tree services will be performed: Bakersfield National Cemetery, Arvin, California Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, California Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, California Los Angeles National Cemetery, Los Angeles, California Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego, California Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, California San Francisco National Cemetery, San Francisco, California San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Santa Nella, California National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona Prescott National Cemetery, Prescott, Arizona Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, Washington Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Oregon Roseburg National Cemetery and Roseburg Annex, Roseburg, Oregon Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico Fort Bayard National Cemetery, Fort Bayard, New Mexico Fort Lawton Cemetery (former Army Post), Seattle, Washington Fort Vancouver Cemetery (former Army Post), Vancouver, Washington **THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION QUOTES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME.** The period of performance shall be approximately August 1, 2019 to July 31, 2020 and four (4) option years to be exercised at the Government s discretion.
