The purpose of this amendment to the solicitation is to incorporate a revised Performance Work Statement (Attachment A), incorporate a revised price schedule, and to address questions from prospective vendors. 1. Revised Performance Work Statement (PWS), Attachment A, incorporated and fully replaces previous PWS. 2. Revised price schedule, page 2 of this amendment, incorporated and fully replaces previous price schedule. 3. Question 1) The price schedule s CLIN 0001 and 0003 reference granite headstones and subsequent aspects of the PWS reference marble, please clarify. Answer 1) The headstones covered under this contract will be marble headstones only. Revised price schedule incorporated into this amendment. 4. Question 2) There is an area in the middle of the section that is empty and is unlevel, approximately 30 x 30 , does this area need to be leveled? Answer 2) Yes. The PWS states the following, Surface renovation work shall typically occur either in conjunction with or prior to specified headstone raise and realign work in order to achieve the specified requirements for flowing precision uniformity of headstones with the leveled burial section surface terrain; In Section 10 80 00 para. 1.3.3 The mean (or average) topsoil level shall be determined for the entire section to be aligned in all directions ; Section 32 92 00 para. 1.2.10 Grade and compact surface of site to achieve desired finished appearance, which is to be smooth and uniformly level down each row and between each row, free of all surface ripples, depressions, high spots, low areas, ridges. The finish grade for each gravesite section shall be smooth and uniformly level with adjacent gravesite sections and surrounding terrain. PRICE SCHEDULE: Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material, equipment, tools and supplies to complete Raise & Realignment services for Natchez National Cemetery following National Cemetery Administration standards. Units and services to be in accordance with Performance Work Statement, Technical Specifications, Performance Incentives/Disincentives, terms and conditions contained in this solicitation. The schedule price shall be all-inclusive, including all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies to complete the Contract Line Items (CLINs). Offerors shall enter unit price and total amounts for each CLIN as indicated in the schedule. In the event there is a difference between a unit price and the extended total amount, the unit price will be held to be the intended bid price and the total of the CLINs will be recomputed accordingly.
