Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract to provide construction services for the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades Tier 2 at the Fargo VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 2101 Elm Street North, Fargo, ND 58102-2417. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The intent of this project is for the following infrastructure improvements: Construct new Data Center addition to include Electrical (electrical panel, lighting, fire alarm, power distribution (normal, emergency, Bonding, UPS,) Mechanical (new HVAC and ductwork, controls, interface with building management), Construction of new space (site work, utilities, physical security, demo, new construction, finishes), relocate fiber infrastructure MDA, install diversified path to datacenter for WAN Project Building locations include: Buildings 1 and site. The Contractor shall completely prepare buildings and campus for operations, including demolition and removal of existing portions of structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Fargo VA VAMC EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades, Tier 2 construction project. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued in late May/early June 2025. The period of performance is approximately 546 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
