Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Minor Construction project 650-318 Otis Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located at Providence VA Healthcare Systems (VAHCS) located at 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures/equipment, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for a new CBOC Construction Project for the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Providence, Rhode Island. The new Community Outpatient Clinic is located in Bourne, Massachusetts. This project shall include, but not be limited to general construction, alterations, civil site work, finishes, HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, fire alarm and suppression, security and other items as contained within the construction documents. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the LPTA methodology listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as an unrestricted, full and open competition. This is not a set-aside. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 million. The solicitation will be issued around late May. The period of performance is approximately 455 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00.
