Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Minor Construction project 650-348 Construction of Valley Site Improvements located at VA Providence VA Healthcare Systems (VAHCS) located at 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall completely prepare site for site improvements operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures/equipment/utilities, and furnish all labor and materials, testing, tools, equipment, expertise, apparatus, administration, supervision, transportation, permits, disposal, etcetera, as necessary to perform all work for the Valley Street Site Improvements Project at the Providence VAHCS, Providence, RI as required in the attached contract documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) and per the description herein. This project shall include, but not be limited to general construction, civil site work, landscaping, drainage, utilities, new bus shelter, finishes, electrical, security cameras, sheet pile walls and other items as contained within the construction documents. Refer to the attached contract documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) for complete details of project work. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the LPTA procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 million. The solicitation will be issued early in 2024. The period of performance is approximately 489 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00.
