This project will address the needs of VA patients and employees with a building that is tailored to the functional and operational needs of the Optometry and Ophthalmology departments. This has been... THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO UPDATE THE EVALUATION METHODOLOGY AND CORRECT VAAR MAGINTUDE OF CONSTRUCTION. The previous notice stated this project will be evaluated as Trade Offs. This has been updated to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). VAAR Magnitude of Construction is $10M-$20M. The administrative section of the notice is revised as follows to correct both of these matters. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 million. The solicitation will be issued around early December 2023. The period of performance is approximately 548 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00.
