INTRODUCTION: The Bonham VAMC is seeking a general contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision to provide the following infrastructure improvements: upgrading facility fiber throughout the buildings to each TR room, provide a redundant fiber run throughout the facility to each TR room, provide redundant fiber mails to the new demarcation rooms inside new TR’s from the provider point, design a new Data Center on the 5th Floor of building 1, design or remodel 20 TR rooms, locate spaces for 3 TE enclosures throughout the facility, upgrade facility HVAC and electrical distribution as required, physical security assessment and upgrades and hazardous material abatement in new TR’s and new MCR locations as need ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation has been issued as an Invitation for Bid conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the IFB procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation has been advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The period of performance is approximately 365 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00.
