Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Construct Facility for Mental Health Primary Car Modalities project at the Sacramento VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather CA 95655. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project includes architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and low voltage for a new ground up two-story building at the VA Northern California Health Care System. The total size will be approximately 21,500 sf. The first floor is 11,500sf of PRRC dedicated space including two entrances from the parking lot, a main entrance for PRRC and a secondary entrance for the elevator vestibule. The second floor includes Human Resources, Sleep Study Clinic, and general administrative space. All areas will meet current VHA Design Guides and PSRDM. The Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by drawings and specifications. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued in late December /early January 2024. The period of performance is approximately 730 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
