Page 1 of Page 4 of 4 Page 1 of INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Construct Renovate Joint Ambulatory Care Clinic (JACC) located at Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System 790 Veterans Way, Pensacola, FL. Normal work hours are planned to be between 7:00AM to 4:00PM local time, Monday through Friday except for federal holidays. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall completely prepare project site for operations, including demolition and removal of existing site elements, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the Veterans Affairs Gulf Coast Health Care System Project 520-331, Construct Addition and Renovations to Joint Ambulatory Care Center in Pensacola, FL as required by drawings and specifications. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued December to early January 2023. The period of performance is approximately 540 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to Sandra.Mruk@va.gov .
