Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build (DBB) Minor Construct Sterile Processing Service Construction project at the Omaha VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 4101 Woolworth Ave. Omaha, Nebraska 68105. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The expectation for this project is to successfully facilitate the construction of a new sterile processing service addition on top of the existing building 25 roof. All work shall be planned and scheduled to minimize the construction activities impact on the operation of the warehouse and medical center. All work shall be conducted with strict adherence to Omaha Medical Center and Veteran s Health Administration regulations and infection control requirements. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials, equipment, management, supervision, tools, and all other necessary resources to: Construct a new Sterile Processing Service Addition to building 25 of approximately 11,000 SF on top of the existing Building 25 roof level as required by drawings and specifications. Â ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Fee Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the LPTA procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation will be issued around mid to late December 2023. The period of performance is approximately 545 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00.
