PRESOLICITATION NOTICE RFQ # 36C77622Q0415 HONOLULU PKG #153 Cardiac Ultrasound Scanner The Department of Veterans Affairs, Honolulu Health Care System needs a contract for the procurement of Cardiac Ultrasound Scanner (brand name or equal) as part of the initial outfitting of the newly constructed Community Based Outpatient Clinic being constructed in Kapolei, HI. This notice serves as the synopsis of the proposed contract action in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204, FAR 5.201, and FAR 13.105. The solicitation will be issued as a brand name or equal Request for Quotes (RFQ) set-aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, FAR 13.106-1(d), and VA Acquisition Regulations 819.7006. The formal request for quotes (RFQ) will be posted to Contract Opportunities on/about Wednesday, June 14, 2023, and quotes will be due on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 1:00 PM (Eastern). To submit a quote in response to this notice, please follow the directions in the RFQ that can be found through Contract Opportunities at the RFQ number identified above. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist Rachael Avery at rachael.avery@va.gov and also the Contracting Officer via email at grace.kelly-burnsworth@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted as a part of this notice. Technical and contract-related questions in response to the RFQ will be accepted in accordance with the RFQ instructions.
