Introduction: The sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced and interested potential sources. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to the sources sought announcement. The NAICS code for this procurement is 518210 Computing Infrastructure Providers, Data Processing, Web Hosting, and Related Services and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $40,000,000.00. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking interested sources (contractors) for an integrated system that assists with staff scheduling. This system must allow managers to coordinate schedules, capture data, produce reports, and coordinate work assignments to meet patient care needs. The primary users of the system are nurse managers, supervisors, service chief and secretaries, who will coordinate schedules, capture data, produce reports, and coordinate work assignments. The contractor will provide the VHA Office of Nursing Services (ONS) with access to the online staffing tool. The contractor will not be responsible for developing the staffing tool, distributing it to participants, creating reports, analyzing results outside of the standard functions of the software, or conducting evaluations. At this time, no solicitation exists. Therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. II. Submittal Information: Responses are due no later than 11:59 AM EST APRIL 12, 2023. Responses shall be limited to 3 pages, 12-point font minimum. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Responses shall be sent to Erich Hoffman at Erich.Hoffman@va.gov. Questions or comments regarding the RFI are due no later than 11:59 AM EST April 12, 2023. Responses shall provide administrative information, and shall include the following as a minimum: Company Name, DUNs number, Company mailing address, phone number, name of designated point of contact and e-mail of designated point of contact. Company business size and status (i.e., Large Business, Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Women-Owned Small Business, etc.), the number of years in business, affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners. Capability/Qualifications: Description of the capabilities/qualifications/skills your company possesses to perform services/tasks described in the attached statement of work.
